Hometown Soccer Holdings announces executive hires across commercial leadership team

Hometown Soccer Holdings, today announced three additions to its executive leadership team: Eric Strumwasser as Chief Financial & Operating Officer; Ashley Dabb, Esq. as Vice President, Marketing; and Mike Ernst as Vice President, Ticketing. All three will work across HSH's growing portfolio of clubs, including the recently announced New Jersey MLS NEXT Pro.

“Eric, Ashley, and Mike are proven sports and entertainment industry veterans, and each of them strengthens our ability to build clubs the right way as we scale across new markets,” said Tom Glick, CEO of Hometown Soccer Holdings. “Their experience in marketing, ticketing, and finance across some of the top organizations in sports will be invaluable as we grow our platform and deliver for fans in every community we enter.”

As Chief Financial & Operating Officer, Strumwasser will lead finance, strategy, and operations across HSH, overseeing financial planning, capital deployment, and the shared-services platform supporting the company's expanding portfolio of clubs. Strumwasser brings more than a decade of experience building and scaling finance and operating functions across sports, entertainment, and high-growth companies, most recently as Senior Vice President of Finance and Business Strategy at Harris Blitzer Sports & Entertainment, the parent company of the Philadelphia 76ers, New Jersey Devils, and Prudential Center. Before that, he held finance and strategy roles at Casper and began his career in PwC's advisory practice.

As Vice President of Marketing, Dabb will lead fan development and engagement, fan data strategy, and the branding and market launch strategy for each HSH club. Dabb brings more than 15 years of experience across professional sports, marketing, agency leadership, and live events, most recently holding senior leadership roles with Major League Soccer, the Philadelphia Union as VP, Marketing & Communications, and the National Lacrosse League as CMO. She holds a J.D. from Rutgers Law School and has been recognized by Forbes Women to Watch and Leaders 40 Under 40.

As Vice President of Ticketing, Ernst will lead ticket sales strategy, infrastructure, systems, and revenue growth across HSH's growing portfolio of soccer clubs. Ernst brings 20 years of experience driving revenue growth and commercial strategy across professional sports, most recently as Chief Business Officer of Chicago Stars FC and, before that, more than a decade with Chicago Fire FC, culminating as Senior Vice President of Sales & Revenue. In 2025, he helped lead the commercial strategy for Dallas Trinity FC's State Fair Clásico at the Cotton Bowl, which drew 22,838 fans and set a Texas attendance record for women's professional sports.

The hires come as HSH continues to build out its enterprise following the launch of the New Jersey MLS NEXT Pro club, which was announced on September 2, 2026 as the first club to relaunch under the HSH platform. Set to begin play at NEXUS in Middlesex County in July 2027, New Jersey MLS NEXT Pro will be the first of multiple club launches under HSH in the coming years.
